Pricing Update

Anthropic

• Long context pricing for Claude Haiku 5.5 was clarified with a substantive billing rule change/definition:
  • Previously: only said prompts over 100,000 tokens pay higher prices.
  • Now: explicitly states that prompt length includes all input tokens, including cache reads and cache writes.
  • Now: explicitly states pricing is determined per request, so:
    • a request over 100,000 tokens is billed at the higher Haiku 5.5 rates even if some of the prompt is served from cache
    • earlier requests keep the prices they were originally billed at.
