• Text editor tool pricing changed

  • Old: text_editor_20250429 added 700 input tokens.
  • New:
    • text_editor_20250728 adds 974 input tokens for Claude 4.7 and later models and Claude Mythos Preview
    • text_editor_20250728 adds 745 input tokens for Claude 4.6 and earlier models

• Bash tool billing rules were broadened/generalized by model coverage

  • Old:
    • 325 tokens for Claude Opus 5, Claude Opus 4.8, and Claude Opus 4.7
    • 244 tokens for Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and earlier
  • New:
    • 325 tokens for Claude 4.7 and later models and Claude Mythos Preview
    • 244 tokens for Claude 4.6 and earlier models
  • Substantively, the 325-token overhead now explicitly applies more broadly across all 4.7+ models / Mythos Preview, not just the listed Opus models.

• Data residency pricing clarification for Claude Haiku 5.5

  • New version explicitly states that the 1.1x inference_geo: "us" multiplier also applies to Claude Haiku 5.5’s higher pricing tier for prompts over 100,000 tokens.
  • This is a billing-rule clarification affecting how the surcharge applies to that tier.
