• New billable tool pricing details for Browser use tool:

  • Added a new Browser use tool section under specific tool pricing.
  • Declares browser_toolset_20260801 adds about 6,600 input tokens by default:
    • about 6,610 tokens on Claude Fable 5, Claude Mythos 5, Claude Opus 5, and Claude Opus 4.8
    • about 6,670 tokens on Claude Sonnet 5
  • Enabling all four optional members adds about 880 tokens.
  • Disabling members via configs reduces token count.
  • Additional billable token consumption includes:
    • screenshot and zoom images, billed as image input
    • text tool results such as accessibility trees, page text, console entries, and network entries

• Computer use tool billing rules changed materially:

  • Added pricing details for the newer computer_toolset_20260801.
  • New default toolset definition overhead is about 4,500 input tokens per request:
    • about 4,520 tokens on Claude Fable 5, Claude Mythos 5, Claude Opus 5, and Claude Opus 4.8
    • about 4,590 tokens on Claude Sonnet 5
  • Disabling zoom via configs removes about 410 tokens.
  • Prior computer-use pricing figures are now explicitly scoped to earlier tool versions (computer_20251124 and computer_20250124):
    • system prompt overhead 466–499 tokens
    • tool definition about 735 input tokens
  • Additional token consumption now explicitly includes zoom images as billable image input, in addition to screenshots and tool execution results.
